I attended our Association meeting last night and learned our neighborhood now has beavers! They are actively building a dam in the doughnut pond off of Plum Creek Blvd. Have you seen the gnawed logs on the edge of the water?? Based on an expert's opinion, he thinks there may be 1-4 living there. In addition, my husband also thought he spotted one crossing Plum Creek Court to the pond there. Please use care when going by our ponds. The Association is actively working to resolve this problem and soon the beavers and the dam will be removed professionally.

1) Board Candidates introduced
2) Budget reviewed as published in May Invoice
3) Discussion of required maintenance over next several year
a. Replace fences in 2-3 years
b. Reseal wood bridges
c. Repair culvert
d. Unknown cost of beaver damn elimination process
e. Members have volunteered for beautification efforts
f. Weed control for playground area
g. $400 to $500 to replenish entrances
4) Based on above, proposed increase in fees to $90/year from current $80
a. Will confirm amount before the Spring meeting
5) Clarification of new collection process for delinquent accounts
6) Discussion of recreation field and its use
a. Agreed to ask landscaping service to cut lawn less often to save $
7) Architectural Committee
a. Control violations but first need to define & publish the process
b. Discussion of lampposts
i. Will look into energy saving bulbs
8) Safety blog available to Plum Creek residents
