Smashed pumpkins?

Anyone else have a smashed pumpkin? We had only 1 and it probably happened around 11:30 last night. Very daring person since our living room lights, porch lights, and yard lights were all on. We are wondering if it was a normal childish/teenager prank or an angry drunk in a cowboy hat?
