Plum Creek Neighborhood Watch

I received this information in an email at work and thought I would share with the blog.

This is a situation that occurs around holidays. Possible burglars will ring the doorbell to see if anyone is home and then enter once they are fairly certain the house is empty. Please pass the info on to any Block Watch or Neighborhood Groups to be alert and aware and call police if they are in doubt.

Thanks and have a safe Holiday Season.

On 11/20/09, sometime between 0900 hrs and 2120 hrs., a burglary occurred on Park Ave., New Berlin. The actor(s) gained entry to the home by breaking out a relatively small basement window (24” X 20”). Taken from the home was $500 cash, a U.S. Passport, a Polaroid digital camera, and a Nikon Cool Pix digital camera.

While conducting a canvass, officers learned a suspicious vehicle had been seen driving slowly down Park Ave. and stopping in front of numerous houses at approximately 1100 hrs. The vehicle was described as a Cadillac CTS, maroon in color, with large chrome wheels and dark tinted windows. The vehicle was occupied by one male and one female subject. The female subject, described as being Hispanic, in her twenties, approx. 507, with black hair, was seen knocking on the doors of a number of houses along Park Ave. When one of the homeowners answered the door, the female subject said she was looking for someone named Amanda Rodriguez.
