ReplyDeleteA safety concern I have is the speed that some residents use when driving through the subdivision. It’s possible that some of these individuals don’t actually live here (visiting or cutting through) but most do. With all the children that play in the street we as residents should be more aware of our speed and ensure risk is minimized for children and adults alike. Let’s all slow down to under 20 mph speed limit so the chances of an accident becomes minimal. Thanks for listening and cooperating.
Agreed. In fact, I'm probably guilty of this myself sometimes. Please share this comment with all driving members of your family. While on the subject, let your teens & their friends know about our communication-share to convey the importance of driving nicely throughout our community -- just because they are around the corner from their own house does not mean they are not being observed. As my kids approach driving age, I'd want to be given a heads up if they are driving irresponsibly.

ReplyDeleteYesterday we came home to find a "new" doormat on our front porch. Our own doormat seems to be missing. Perhaps some of the resident kids are doing this as a prank -- switching the doormats. If you have one that doesn't belong to you, or are missing yours also, please let me know. We'd like to get our own back and return the one we found in its place to the rightful owner. Thanks!
